at my exhibition at Refugium2 in autumn of 2008...

I displayed a very old work of mine 'jelly barbie'. As you might be able to see, underneath the print there is lots of green jelly spread out on the floor (,which I took home from America for some reason I am not sure of myself...I think I liked the packaging and I thought there are even more artificial ingredients in it to keep it going for longer). As I was hoping the jelly started to get mouldy! Unfortunately the person who was watching the exhibition during opening hours started to panic, she was convinced she'll get food poisoning by just being near to it. (There were actually 6 rooms in total and in between her and the jelly was another room plus a staircase and a hall...) That's how I ended up renewing the 6 liters of jelly once a week (the exhibition took 4 weeks), every Monday morning I was cooking the stuff to take it down to the S-Bahn to get it to Berlin Mitte, what an adventure for my then 4 year old son Lavi, he liked it best when I started to remove the mouldy jelly and the clouds of dust started to rise...
